Patchwork Boy2

I dew this a few times, frustrated I couldn't make my teddy bear look cute. I realised its because he isn't. He's ugly, old, more patchwork scars than original. He's only adorable to me because of the nightmares he helped make less scary, the tears he's soaked up over the years, all the bags he's been stuffed into. This poor thing has been through fire (literally) with me and a true, personification, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm 22 and still sleep better with this tangle of rags and memories propped up against my pillow at night. This piece is just as much about the idea as it is about the drawing, if you can call it that. 
So now, back to revision, and by revision I mean Iron Man and icecream. Things seem to hold more double meaning than most days.
